Teektrue Material Certification & Teektrue Direct
Introduction
Teektrue supplies premium synthetic teak and cork-rubber marine decking materials to Deckfab agents.
Teektrue Certified Material:
Our synthetic teak and cork-rubber decking materials are available for use by Deckfab agents. These materials are renowned for their durability, UV resistance, and natural look, making them ideal for custom projects and repairs. Teektrue material is certified as being fit to service decks to a professional marine standard and supplied through our network of certified fabricators and installers — without the added cost of large dealer networks, boat show budgets, or multi-layer distribution. This allows boat owners and yards to access high-grade synthetic teak at a more rational price point, while maintaining full professional fabrication and installation.

Teektrue Direct — The Standard That Protects Your Investment
When you’re investing in a premium deck for your vessel, you deserve more than a good-looking finish. You deserve proof. Proof that the materials are certified, the installation meets the required standard, and that someone stands behind the result. That’s exactly what Teektrue Direct delivers.
Every Project. Every Vessel. Fully Documented.
Every Teektrue Direct installation follows a structured three-stage process — from initial vessel assessment through to final sign off — ensuring nothing is left to chance.
Before work begins, your yard surveys the vessel, confirms the project specification in writing, and Teektrue certified materials are confirmed throughout. Every project is assigned a unique Teektrue Direct reference number from day one.
During the installation, your deck is photographed at every key stage — from the original template through to the completed fitting — creating a complete documented record of your project.
The Teektrue Direct Completion Certificate
When your installation is complete, it isn’t simply handed over. Every Teektrue Direct project is reviewed and signed off by Teektrue’s material certification authority, who approves the photographic record before issuing your Teektrue Direct Completion Certificate.
Your certificate confirms your vessel details, the deck areas covered, the materials used, and carries a signature as evidence that your installation has been completed to the Teektrue Direct standard.
Two Warranties. Both Triggered by Your Certificate.
Your Teektrue Direct Completion Certificate activates two separate warranties — Teektrue’s own six-year material warranty against manufacturing defects, and your yard’s independent workmanship guarantee. Neither warranty is valid without the certificate. That’s intentional. It ensures every Teektrue Direct installation is properly completed and documented before any warranty protection applies.
Why This Matters
Your Teektrue Direct Completion Certificate becomes part of your vessel’s permanent history. It documents who fitted your deck, what materials were used, and that the installation was independently reviewed and approved. For resale, for insurance, and for your own peace of mind — that documented history has real, tangible value.
No competitor offers this. It is genuinely unique in the synthetic teak market.
Not Sure Which Route Is Right For You?
Generally if your vessel is under 40ft — a Deckfab Certified fitters approved fitter and Deckfab panels are your route to a perfect synthetic teak deck.
If your vessel is 40ft or above and has complex patterns and decks — contact us to discuss how we might create a project with a suitable yard. Often these projects involve a variety of skillsets, usually yard fitters working hand in hand with traditional deckmakers.
